Richard's Hikes

In the rainforest, I didn't join Richard for any of the hikes. They weren't short, and they weren't easy. He loved them though! And they tended to go out in the rain, since the hikes were included hiking through streams and water anyways :)
He took the little camera, and we found it's so hard to capture how amazing the forests are! Incredible scenery, but when you go back to look at the photos, it just looks like bunches of trees and plants. Not nearly so impressive as being there and taking it all in.
Here's the first one:

A rainbow; it had just stopped raining, but then started raining again when he was an hour or so into the hike.







Following Luis...
The photos turned out terrible, but Luis had Richard eating ants from some plant. Also trying two types of root. Luis smeared termites on their arms, it's a natural bug repellent. Ick!
